Weatherstone Neighborhood in Highlands Ranch, Colorado

Weatherstone is a beautiful neighborhood that is located in Highlands Ranch, CO - Douglas County.
The neighborhood is just west of Wildcat Reserve Parkway off of Weathersfield Way and Stone Mountain Drive and is made up of approximately 290 single family homes. It is a stunning neighborhood and is very desirable for many home buyers.

The homes in Weatherstone were built largely in part by Sanford (now Beazer Homes) but there is also a number of homes in the nieghborhood that are built by custom builders such as Virden and Forest Glen.

The homes currently for sale, today, range in price from the $490,000’s to the $1,040,000’s but will vary widely due to lot sizes, views, custom features and location. Many of the homes in Weatherstone have beautiful large yards, which is a bit unique due to some of the other neighborhoods in Highlands Ranch with similar home models and floor plans.

Weatherstone is a part of the covenant community of Highlands Ranch, governed by the Highlands Ranch Community Association. It also has a secondary HOA and with that comes a private community pool(outside of the other HRCA pools) and other features & benefits as well. There is even a picnic shelter near the pool that can be reserved for private functions.

Weatherstone also has a very active social community & calendar, which also makes it a very desirable location for home buyers in Highlands Ranch.

There area a good number of homes in Weatherstone that back to open space and some offer wonderful views of the mountains or have downtown city views. There is a community that is being built near Weatherstone, The Back Country, however a good number of Weatherstone homes with views will not be affected by this development.

Recreation opportunities are nearly endless throughout Highlands Ranch in general, and Weatherstone is no exception. As already mentioned, Weatherstone does have its own community pool and there is also a community park, Pronghorn Park, off of Weathersfield Way. Weatherstone does have a fantastic location in Highlands Ranch, providing convenient recreation opportunities very close by. Biking and running trails are plentiful, and run through the Weatherstone neighborhood connecting it with the entire trail system of Highlands Ranch. The recreation centers in Highlands Ranch are beautiful and have something for everyone. The closest to Weatherstone would be the Westridge Recreation Center with the Southridge Recreation Center nearby as well. The Eastridge Recreation Center and Northridge are in Highlands Ranch as well and because of its convenient location are also easily accessible.

Shopping is also plentiful near Weatherstone - including a grocery stores, restaurants & shops at Wildcat Reserve Parkway and Highlands Ranch Parkway. Plus there are numerous shopping opportunities and restaurants at the Highlands Ranch Town Center including The Old Blinking Light, Landsdowne Arms, Home Depot, Bed Bath and Beyond and The Tattered Cover. More grocery & other shops are located at the Southridge Shopping Center. The Aspen Grove Lifestyle Center is just 10 minutes from Weatherstone and it is 12 - 15 minutes to Park Meadows Mall.

Weatherstone is approximately a 45 minute commute from Denver International Airport. 

Commuting from Weatherstone is a breeze - with a straight shot up Santa Fe Drive all the way down town, or just minutes to the Mineral Station Light Rail. There is also an RTD bus commuting center within 5 minutes of the neighborhood. The neighborhood is just moments from the Lucent entrance to C470, providing easy access to the entire DTC area. Whether you need to commute to the DTC area, Meridian, the Lockheed Plant, or downtown, Weatherstone’s convenient location allows easy access to all of the major metro areas.
